Steeped in 20 years of streetball culture, the Showboat Classic is making a comeback with founder, Kev of Beef Stew Radio in collaboration with Balls Up 4 Real, the upcoming feature-length streetball film!!!Our Mission:
Using sports to engage with the community, we provide at-risk youth with the opportunities and the tools needed to thrive academically and professionally while steering them away from violence and negative influences.Our Goals:
1. Youth Engagement: Engage more than 500 at-risk youth annually through organized basketball tournaments and educational programs.
2. Education & Scholarships: Establish pathways to higher education by providing college admissions guidance, scholarships, and academic support.
3. Community Impact: Strengthen the community by reducing juvenile delinquency rates and promoting cohesion through the power of sports.

What We Provide:
1. An Annual Basketball Tournament
The Showboat Classic Basketball Tournament draws teams from across New York City and the surrounding regions, fostering competition and camaraderie while keeping youth engaged in a positive environment.
2. Education
Workshops (financial literacy, career development, college admissions) and grants.
3. Mentorship Programs
Youth participants are paired with community leaders, former athletes, and professionals from various industries who offer guidance, advice, and real-world insights to support their personal growth.
